Icon Styling

  • All icons should use the Feather Icons outline style.

  • Maintain the default 1.5px stroke weight and simple geometric structure.

  • Icons should feel modern, minimal, and aligned with Tecton’s precision-driven brand.

  • Use filled icons only for active states or hover interactions. Outlined icons are the default.

Size & Alignment

  • Standard icon size is 24x24px. Scale proportionally for other use cases.

  • Maintain 2px padding within containers when needed.

  • Icons must be center-aligned both vertically and horizontally.

  • Never stretch, skew, or modify icon proportions.

Icon Usage Guidelines

  • Primary Source: Use icons directly from Feather Icons to ensure consistency.

  • Custom Icons: If a specific need arises, custom icons may be created to match the Feather Icons style — using the same stroke weight, corner treatment, and proportions.

  • Do Not Mix Styles: Avoid combining icons from multiple libraries or mixing outline and filled styles in the same context.
