After retiring in 2022, Miki was diagnosed with epilepsy, which led her to explore metabolic therapies and the history of ketones as a medical intervention for neurological conditions. Her introduction to R3HBG in 2024, and its potential to address modern metabolic dysfunction, compelled her to return to the frontlines of innovation.

Previously, Miki held senior leadership roles at Charlotte’s Web and Harmony Hemp, where she directed multi-million-dollar mergers, built nationwide retail distribution pipelines, and oversaw regulatory compliance in highly scrutinized categories. She also founded the Nexus Evolution Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to holistic mental and metabolic health for vulnerable children.
